Went to a concert last evening with Bethany and Kaylee in tow. It was at an open air amphitheater. The occasion was a 'welcome home' for Brooke white, who was a contestant on American Idol. She, I believe, got 5th place. She is from here. The opening singer, who sang longer really wasn't that great. I think he is a group from the 80's.
It was fun to get to learn more about Brooke White's journey. A representative from the highschool she attended presented her with a DVD featuring Brooke's first performance at that school. The guy who presented the DVD I knew, he was in our ward before we moved here.
