Saturday Jakob had is 'friends party'. What a blast they all had! It's amazing what a little water and sugar will do to make for a great party. LOL.
The water part being squirt guns, water balloons, hoses and of course, the pool. The kiddos played 'duck, duck, goose' with water balloons. Where the 'goose' goes around with a water balloon in their hand, and when they decide on the next 'goose', they pop the water balloon over person's head. The squirt guns were a hit, also...because there were enough to go around, so everyone was filling them up in a huge container of water, then soaking each other. Biggest hit, of course, was the pool. Most of the time was spent in there with the water toys, and such.
The 'sugar' part being cup cakes and snow cones. Nathan (Jakob's friend who used to live next door) brought his shaved ice machine, and they had raspberry, strawberry and lemon/lime flavors. I made cupcakes in ice cream cones. I added pudding mix and coconut milk to the cake mix...so they were pretty tasty cupcakes.
Jakob loved the present receiving part, of course. He got a remote control truck, a Robot bank, a basketball, a army man set, a car that shoots disks, a gun that shoots disks, a couple of really nice shirts, and probably a couple of other things that I can't think of right off.
