At the 2 older kiddos school, all students start violin in 4th grade...so next year, if we are still going to that school, Jakob will be starting the violin. Well, yesterday afternoon all of the kiddos (including 2 neighbor girls, who are in 5th and 6th grade, and are taking violin) decided to have a violin playing session.
We happen to have 3 violins. We got a pink one from the neighbor, and then I bought 2 over the internet. One is a 'full size' the other is a '1/16th' size. Hello! It is a tiny violin. WAY to small for anyone except maybe a 3 year old...it's probably about Ben's size...and he looks really cute trying to play it, but it's not going to happen, I think he is just to young and hyper to get into playing it. So, not sure what to do with it, actually...except let the kiddos get it out every once in awhile. Then the full size violin is too big for Jakob next year, so we will have to probably purchase one for his size.
