It's the Most wonderful time of the year ~ Christmas 2009

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

What a wonderful and enjoyable day we have had. :) The best part is the opportunity to spend the day with FAMILY. No work or school getting in the way. We all got some fun stuff this year! I hardly know where to begin. Let's start at the top and go down with who all was here.

Grandma & Grandpa got some great stuff...their children (Robert, Pauline, Michael, Stephanie & Erica) and their spouses went in together and bought them a Solar Oven.

Robert & Shelley opened most of their gifts at home, they did get 'UP' the movie. Which is really cute.

Jon's favorite gift is probably his 'hawkidocter' (that's how Jakob said 'helicopter' as a toddler). Then maybe the new book set he got. Fablehaven.

Steph got WAY more then expected. Everything is so great! Jewelry, chocolate and a 'shark' vacuum from hubby...also shopping money and promises to babysit, too! (Wow! how did I get so lucky?!), a great book (The Actor and the House Wife) from Grandma, spices and home canned foods from Grandma(You are a-m-a-z-i-n-g, Mom!), and knife sharpener from Grandpa (and LOTS of little repairs: Paper towel holder, drawer handles, toilet...my Dad is such a great dad!) One of my favorite things were the squeals and hugs from the kids!

Jakob got a remote controlled boat, that he has already got going out in the wading pool. Also a scooter, and a MP3 player.

Zaelynn LOVES her whole dress up set that we all worked at putting together for her. LOADS of jewelry, tutu's and bling-bling. (Thanks SO much for your help Gma Anita, Shelley and especially Gma Betty) She also got a scooter and other fun things.

Benjamin's favorite is probably a rescue helicopter. It has a rescue hook that you can lower and the raise back up a stretcher. He also likes his 'black & decker jr.' tool bench. Ben got a green scooter.

Ariela most enjoyed rolling around in the wrapping paper with Luke. So cute. She also got a really cute 'antique'-like (though it's really new) phone. The kind you pull along behind you, and has the old style dialer. A fun stuffed animal that you can record your voice, and listen to it again.

Luke probably made out like a bandit. (wink) this being his first Christmas. I do know he got a couple of Elmo toys (including and Elmo remote) Elmo is a favorite of his.
