We went to a festival a few days before Halloween. It ended up being a pretty cold evening. Arie's bdad & 2 sisters met us there.
Arie's favorite was the bounce house, she wasn't sure of it, at first...but then wanted to stay and play.
The other kiddos each took a turn riding a horse around, they thought that was pretty awesome. Ben wouldn't go by himself, so Jakob went with him. But still Ben only stayed on the horse long enough to get a picture...
Ben was more interested in the Tractor Train. We lost track of him for a bit, and come to find out he was riding the tractor train the whole time. Very creatively made train.
HaLLoween Night
We did a ward party at our neighbor's home, we set up our spooky scientist guy, and hooked up the microphone to him, so that when you talked into the microphone his mouth would move. Fun Stuff.
I took the older 3 trick-or-treating after. Jon & Arie came home to pass out treats to the kiddos that came knocking.
Zae was a sweet princess. I had a couple of other ideas for her, but little girls LOVE to dress up as princesses.
Ben just had to be a bat again this year. The bat costume from last year is long gone, and would have been too small. Laraine saved me again this year, and helped to make another one. I think it will even fit him next year, if he desperately wants to be a bat again.
Couldn't keep the hat on little Arie. ;) The pumpkin didn't seem to mind wearing it...I think Arie wanted to have a taste of pumpkin.
Jakob was Spiderman without a mask. He didn't want to bother too much with a costume...he just wanted to get down to some serious trick-or-treating.
I dressed in the same costume as last year, but I didn't have the hat on, nor did I paint my face.
