Spring has Sprung

Spring has Sprung, and I am WAY past due in writing an entry. I just got finished reading a very cute entry on Robert & Shelley's blog, they had mentioned that it had been over 2 months since they have posted...well, it's been almost 4 months (since Christmas) for me!

Much has happened in the last few months. Our house has kept in a busy whirl. Always something going on around here.

We brought in the new year in California, with Aunt Viona and Uncle Dave. We even made a trip to the beach! That was awesome, we all loved it.

February brought Valentine's day. And did we ever get a sweetheart for Valentine's (He was born Feb 9th, and we met him 2 days later.) We have a new Foster Baby. We call him Junior. Such a cutie pie! He's now almost 2 months old. We are gonna love, love, love him while we have him. (you should see Ben snuzzle up to him.)

March Zae and Ben were in a performance at their school. It was made up of different Disney Songs. Zae danced to 'Spoon Full of Sugar', from -Mary Poppins-. Ben got to dress like Pinocchio and dance to 'Hi Diddlee De'. Jakob played Primary Softball. I don't think it's his favorite sport. ;) I caught him sitting and picking grass, a couple of times. (while in the outfield.)

Also in March we had Spring Break. Pauline and her clan came here for their spring break, also my Mom. Then we traveled to Cannonville for our spring break, the following week. It sure didn't feel like spring in Cannonville! Brrrr...they had snow! On the way there we actually traveled through quite a heavy storm. The kiddos loved playing in the snow and going sledding. Also driving the go-cart.

It was great to spend time with family! (Erica sure loved loving on the babies. :)

This month I and Ariela got to take a fun trip to FLORIDA. The weather was perfect! I probably should have put on a little more sun screen, cause I got a bit toasted. We were visiting my friend Claudia, and her family. They live in the panhandle of Florida. The gulf on one side, the bay on the other. While there, we took an over-night trip to New Orleans. Traveling through Missippi & Alabama. Then of course Louisiana, where New Orleans is. It was a different experience. Seeing houses that were burned out, blown over, or flooded. There is still quite a bit of devastation there. LOVED there Zoo, though! Wow! They have a nice aquarium, too. (Claudia has all of the pics, so I will have to share them later.)

April brought Easter...the Easter bunny came a little late to our house this year. Kiddos weren't complaining, though. They still loved the candy and treats.
