MERRY CHRISTMAS

We had a fun Christmas and Christmas Eve. :) It was tasty dinner and playing the Wii at Robert & Shelley's house. And of course we all got new pajama jamms.

Got this picture of Jakob after he played with Robert And Shelley's Lincoln Logs. We have a lot of Lincoln Logs, but no instructions (blue prints) Jakob really liked following the directions...I need to try and find some building instructions for our Lincoln Logs, sometime.

Christmas we actually all slept in. Wow! I think 7:30 was the earliest someone woke up. Maybe 7:00. But still...that is like an hour and a half sleep in for Ben. We ate our breakfast around 8am...and didn't open presents until almost 8:30.

The kiddos had fun 'diving' into this pile. LOL I'm still trying to gather and coordinate toys back together. I feel like Christmas exploded around here.

Ben LOVES his new cowboy boots. He wore his other ones until they barely fit him.

I think Zae's favorite thing was any make-up she got. She loves the glitter gloss, nail-polish, stick-on earrings and fake nails. Such a cute little girly-girl. :)

Didn't get a picture of Jakob's favorite gift, which was the helicopter. (which we had to return, cause it wouldn't charge)

I think Jon liked his MP3 player best...I was SO excited when 'Santa' brought him that. :) Now I don't have to deal with his laptop sitting between the seats when we go on long trips. Always worried that I might spill a drink, or some food on it. Or him asking me to please change the songs, or turn up the volume, or plug the adapter in, so that the battery wouldn't die. He is finding other fun things that it will do, like video clips, pictures, etc.

My favorite gift was the gift of shopping. Hubby knows that I love to find a good deal. There are usually some good deals the day after Christmas, like on Candy, wrapping paper, gift sets, etc. So, he surprised me with taking the day after Christmas off, and watching the kiddos while I went out searching for bargains with Laraine.

I need to get a new camera, that has rechargable batteries. Cause my camera zaps through the batteries, plus, I just really want a upgraded digital camera for my amature photographer ambitions. Any suggestions/ideas for an ideal (but not an over-the-top expensive) camera? I didn't really get very many great pics from Christmas day. :( Gotta do that 'photo session' with the family. :)
