Yesterday we went to a water park in Provo, the kiddos really enjoyed it! One crazy thing is they kept having people get out of the pool. I guess there has been a scare here in Utah with contaminated water, so they are extra cautious. All children not potty trained or 3 and under have to wear swim diapers, and if they saw/heard of any 'accidents in the pool' everyone had to get out.
I wish I could have taken my camera with me to this water park. I love the water feature for the younger kiddos. Spraying water is everywhere. Hoses, buckets, faucets, showers, gysers, etc. The depth of the water was just perfect. Deep enough to have fun in, shallow enough that Ben could get his feet under him, even when he tipped over, or came down the slide. If/when we go to this park again, I think I am going to take a water-proof camera, or maybe just get some pictures at the beginning, and then put my camera away.
Previous to going to the water park we went to a park that had a pond with ducks. We even took some seed for the ducks, but obviously they were 'fed up'. Kind of a play on words that Dianne kept using. The ducks must be 'fed up' cause they weren't eating the seed, nor the bread that other people were trying to feed them, I guess you have to go early in the morning to catch them hungry.
After swimming we headed back to Leon's and snacked a bit, then cousin's came to visit. Mark & Kari brought their clan. Since I saw them last summer, they have been able to adopt 2 more children that were in their foster care. That make 7 children they have adopted, and they have 1 foster child. They will probably adopt him, soon. His parents rights have been severed. His b-mom had another little baby about 4 months ago, she is also in foster care.
Bryce and Kim and their little girl (I think about 8 months old) were here also. I hadn't met their little girl until yesterday, she is very cute. Dianne & Gail were here, also.
