Splishin' and a Splashin'

Well, we got a pool for a backyard. Nothing 'major', but sufficient for the kiddos. It is about 2.5 feet deep, and about 13 feet in diameter. The important thing is if you are small enough, you can actually swim from one side to the other. The kiddos have loved the one day they have been in it. Now we have to make some 'ground rules' cause they all got a bit of sun on Saturday, since they swam for at least 3 hours. So, now we have to wait until a bit later in the day, when there is shade on the pool. Wow! The temperature of the pool is warm! Last night when we were checking things out, the pool felt more like a hot tub, then a pool. We are going to have t drain some of the water, and add cool water, so it won't be so hot. I guess I should get a thermometer so that we can see how warm it is.

Jonny did an 'oops' yesterday, he turned on the filter to filter, and chlorinate the pool, but forgot to take out the plugs...so possibly the pump in burned out. We will probably have to get a new one.
