Recently we found out that Kim (our sister-in-law) has cancer. :( Such a incomprehensible trial they are facing right now! They are such an incredible and YOUNG family!
I am amazed at the strength I see portrayed in their updates and writings on their blog. I love that Matt is able to keep his humor, saying: "I am still here in Provo and she is staying with her mom who is taking her to her treatments while I finish my finals and pack up our apartment. I don't know who's getting the short end of the stick here (just kidding)."
Their little baby, Faye, came into this world almost 9 weeks early. So sweet and little! It sounds like she is doing very well, and continues to improve. She is no longer on oxygen or IV. She has to be in a temperature controlled environment and is fed with a feeding tube. Brings back memories!
The other day, when we were doing our best to explain to Jakob what was going on, he got all emotional and teary-eyed. He has such a sensitive spirit. I hope that this will continue to help him have greater understanding, and sensitivity to others. He along with all of us continue to send our prayers and hope that all goes well with Kim and her treatments. Also for sweet little Faye.

They are an amazing family. It seems to me that their faith has strengthened others' faith and has propelled some to be better than they were.
And as a side note, their little Faye is so cute!
