Benjamin is doing pretty good in the weight department. According to his appointment yesterday he has gained 1 lb in 3 weeks. Yay! I am hoping that we can keep up the good work.
I mentioned his throwing up, and that I would like to do a couple of tests...but they dismissed the idea. Instead he got his medication dosage of Reglan increased, and now he gets it 4 times a day, instead of just 3. Also, he is still getting the prevacid every evening.
I hope that he nausea and vomiting will decrease, and that he will grow out of whatever it is that is going on with his system. Since it doesn't seem likely that any of his doctors are going to find the problem. I think masking it with medicine is the 'fix all'.
Now Ben's height to weight ratio is 25-50%. Which is really good. He's not too skinny for his height, basically.
I gave Ben a haircut a few days ago...he looks so grown up, now. He no longer looks like a baby. At least in my opinion.
Oh, yesterday he also started speech therapy. I really hope that we can get somewhere with his eating habits. And that Jackie (the therapist) has some great ideas for encouraging and getting him to eat. She is fresh out of college.
