Out of the Mouth's of babes

I have been meaning to write about how well Zaelynn has been speaking lately. I have been amazed at some of the words that she remembers, and some of the sentences she puts together. I need to keep a notebook with me, just so that I can remember them.

I cut some apples today, and she said 'I want to dip them in the chocolate.'

Right now she is saying: 'I have my food and my keys in my backpack.' She is packing to go out to the tent, that we set up earlier in the back yard. So, she and Jakob are 'packing' for camping. LOL

I am really surprised at what words Zae can remember. She called Jakob's M&M canteen a 'jug'. How often does that word come up? She has a way of remembering words that she has only heard once or twice, and actually uses them pretty accuratly in sentences.

Benjamin is starting to sign a little better, too. The other day he signed the sign for 'Cow'. His finger up to his forehead like a horn. As he 'moo'd. Today Jon was throwing him up in the air, and he wanted more...we told him he needed to ask for more. He pointed up, then did the sign for 'more', then the sign for 'please'. Very cute. :) Along with his 'noises' he makes for talking.
