He blew all the candles out in one try...I don't think I have been able to do that since I was probably 3. LoL
It's hard to believe we have a 9 year old! AmAzInG! Whoda thunk!? What a great kid he is, too! This year he is wanting to save up the money he has gotten so he can get camping supplies. He was very excited when his Uncle Robert & Aunt Shelley got him a wind-up flashlight. :)
We got him a scooter, that you can 'kick and ride'. He loves that he has his own scooter, now, and doesn't have to 'borrow' his sister's or brother's every day. (We got Zae a scooter for her birthday, and just a couple of weeks ago we found another Razer scooter at a yardsale for 2 bucks. It isn't in as good of shape as the new one we got for Zae, but it works just fine.)
Last Saturday Jakob had a few friends over to swim and have pizza and icecream sandwiches. He got a few fun toys from friends, even though we said presents weren't necessary. Of course he was more then happy to receive some.
Jon & I will hopefully be taking Jakob to a movie and lunch on Saturday. He wants to go see: 'Cloudy with a chance of meatballs'. Sounds interesting.
